Writers: Andrew Zammit, Keith Zammit

Your favourite international singer and song?: Jessie J is by far my
favourite, however ‘Sweet Child of Mine’ by Guns N Roses remains just
one of my most favourite songs.

Your favourite local singer and song? Airport Impressions and their ‘Walk
With Me’.

How long have you been involved in music?: Ever since I was 9 years old.

What are your goals in music ? : I aim to spread good vibes through my
music and performances. Furthermore, I’d love to keep on having the
opportunity to work with different musicians, and keep on learning and
working on improving.

Do you have a standard routine before performing?: I don’t believe in
routines as every performance is different in its own way. However, I like to
take some time out to breathe and calm myself down before going on
stage.

Name another Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza Finalist you admire?:
Neville Refalo

What’s your opinion regarding the music industry in Malta? : It needs a big
boost and musicians shall be acknowledged more. Unfortunately, for many people in Malta music is just a hobby and I feel that the appreciation for
good, soulful music is somewhat declining.

Do you believe in collaborations? Who would you duet with?
Collaborations make music and performing more fun, and they bring the
talents of many people into one. I would really love to duet with a legend
like Tom Jones or Freddie Mercury had he still been alive.

How would you celebrate if you win Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza
2014?: I would obviously celebrate with family and friends and later I would
definitely treat myself to some shopping and ‘me’ time.

Your Message to Music News Malta followers?: Well, many people may not
always wish you the best, but one must keep feet on the ground and work
hard towards one’s dreams, no matter what some people may say. Keep
positivity going round and let karma get back to those people.
