Madonna’s teenage daughter is reportedly fighting with her father over his overprotective ways.

Lourdes Leon, 16, was recently romantically linked to Homeland actor Timothée Chalamet, a fellow student at the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art in New York City. Apparently her father, Madonna’s former personal trainer Carlos Leon, is not happy she’s started dating.

He’s made it a point to embarrass her about their relationship.

“Carlos trusts Lourdes and he likes Timothée, but he also knows how young boys can get carried away,” a source told Radar Online.

“He’s old school and he thinks putting a little fear into the boy dating your daughter is a good thing.”

According to the source Madonna had been the stricter of the parents for most of Lourdes’ upbringing.

But as she grew up the singer has apparently loosened her grip.

Madonna is said to be entertained when Lourdes complains about her dad going out of his way to frighten her new boyfriend.

“Madonna was the villain because she was very firm when it came to school studies and manners early on, but that’s changed as Lourdes has matured,” the insider continued.

“Now she secretly gets a kick out of it when Lourdes complains to her about the curfew her dad’s imposed and all the embarrassing questions he asks her and Timothée.”
