Madonna is reportedly planning on skipping her infamous Oscars after-party.

The 56-year-old pop icon has been grabbing headlines with the event for years, as it’s claimed A-list celebrities go wild at the bash due to its no-press rule.

But apparently Madonna is simply too busy rehearsing for the forthcoming BRIT Awards to make an appearance at her own Academy Awards bash, which she throws with manager Guy Oseary.

However the songstress’ after-party “is still happening [and] will be as star-studded and private as ever,” a source tells Page Six.

Academy Award-winner Jennifer Lawrence admitted to vomiting in front of Miley Cyrus at the 2014 bash. And also at last year’s party, it’s rumoured Sean Penn and Charlize Theron were spotted making out throughout.

“People go to the Vanity Fair party to be photographed — then they go to Madonna’s to party in private,” a former party guest detailed to the outlet.

The BRIT Awards are taking place in London next Wednesday February 25 at the O2 Arena.

Madonna’s performance at the ceremony is highly anticipated, as she hasn’t played the event in two decades.

Her representative informs Page Six she is deeply committed to putting on a good show.

“Madonna has been committed to performing on The Jonathan Ross Show as well as various other promotion for months,” the spokesperson said of her Oscars absence. “Any Madonna performance naturally requires a lot of rehearsal — like Tina Turner says, ‘We never do nothin’ nice and easy.’?I’m told that there will be as many stars as ever at mega manager [Oseary’s] party.”

Madonna releases her new album, Rebel Heart, in March.
