Madonna was reportedly denied her first choice for a New Year’s Eve party venue.

The 56-year-old Grammy-winner is rumoured to have had her sights set on ringing in 2015 at VIP members-only club Shoreditch House, which is located in East London.

But apparently her £100,000 offer to rent out the venue for a NYE bash was turned down.

“Madonna loves East London as well as a good celebration. Once she’d settled on the idea of hiring out Shoreditch House she loved it,” a source told British newspaper The Mirror.

“Her bid was upped and reached very high figures, with the venue seriously considered the offer.”

It’s claimed Shoreditch House executives opted out of the possibility of hosting a New Year’s bash for Madonna due to preexisting agreements.

The high-profile club chose to keep its word to loyal customers.

“[They] eventually decided it wasn’t worth it,” the insider detailed.

“Senior event organisers said no – in favour of staying loyal to members who had already coughed up £50 for tickets in advance.”

Madonna was supposedly hoping to host her party on the top floor of Shoreditch House, which boasts stunning views of the city, an outdoor pool and multiple private rooms.

The Girl Gone Wild singer reportedly planned to invite A-list guests including Harry Styles, Stella McCartney and ex-husband Guy Ritchie.

Madonna has found her share of controversy in recent weeks, as songs from her forthcoming album Rebel Heart were illegally leaked onto the internet before the Christmas holiday.

She also found herself in the midst of a debate after sharing altered pictures of peace icons like Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandela via her social media accounts.

"I'm sorry,” Madonna apologised to fans on Instagram last Friday.

“I'm not comparing my self to anyone

I'm admiring and acknowledging there Rebel Hearts

This is niether a crime or an insult or racist! (sic)”
