Demi Lovato’s “body and mind” are already on holiday.

The 22-year-old star is on hiatus from her world tour, and has wasted no time unwinding.

In a series of messages posted on Twitter on Sunday, the Heart Attack singer said she was feeling festive, and had already checked out of the idea of doing much work until the holidays are over.

“My body and mind are on holiday break already,” Demi shared with fans, adding an image of her dog passed out on the floor of a boutique.

“After a long day of shopping... Buddy was exhausted at Saint Laurent.. #mommasboy,” she wrote.

The former Disney star wrapped up the Demi World Tour in Brooklyn, New York October 27.

She has several months off from the road ahead, with the performances next scheduled to begin in Brisbane April 17.

The trek will continue across Australia for the remainder of the month, wrapping in Auckland, New Zealand April 26.

The break is undoubtedly a relief for the star, who works hard to stay in shape while she’s on the road - although she refuses to “rest on my laurels” even on her days off.

“…Performing and travelling means I have to fit in a workout whenever I can find the time - late night cardio sessions are not unheard of," Demi laughed to the British edition of Women's Health magazine just last month.

"I exercise six days a week with a rest day. It's a lot, but it really helps my mood - I feel great when I work out. My regime includes cardio five times week: spinning and interval training, alternating sprints and walking,” she said.

“…I really look forward to active recovery, like yoga or just walking. It really keeps me focused on where I want to be with my body."
