Lil Wayne to perform at GQ's annual Super Bowl party

GQ, along with sponsors Lacoste and Mercedes-Benz, announced today that rap superstar Lil Wayne will perform at the magazine’s annual Super Bowl party on February 2, 2013, in New Orleans.

“As a lifelong sports fan and a proud New Orleans native, I am thrilled to partner with GQ, a publication that has long supported me, for this year's party,” Wayne said.

The invite-only event will take place at the historic Elm’s Mansion on St. Charles Avenue in the city’s Garden District. More event details will be released in January.

Recent GQ party performers have included Cee LoGreen in 2011 and LL Cool J in 2012.

“I ain’t got no worries,” Wayne said, “that this will be the best Super Bowl party ever.”
