Lil Wayne has allegedly revealed that Drake sleeping with his girlfriend was the “absolute worst thing” that happened to him in prison.
In 2010 the now 32-year-old rapper was given a one year sentence at Rikers Island in New York stemming from an arrest for gun possession in 2007, but was released after just eight months.
And according to a portion of a book proposal Wayne has reportedly sent to various publishers, which TMZ has obtained, Drake visited him during this stint behind bars. However, the drop-in was apparently a shock for Wayne as Drake allegedly confessed he'd slept with his girlfriend.
"Yeah, it's true. Don't f**k with her like that cause I did f**k her," Wayne writes about Drake’s confession.
It’s unclear what Drake was referring to when advising the fellow music star not to mess with his girlfriend - who is not named. However, Wayne details many arguments between him and his partner in the alleged tome, which could explain the comment.
The revelation was apparently hard for Wayne to accept and he even hints he might have resorted to violence had he not been incarcerated.
“This is the type of sh*t that a man never wants to find out when he's locked up. Or, maybe so, cause only God knows what I would have done if I wasn't locked up right now,” he notes.
The musician also recalled discussing the alleged incident with his girlfriend, with her confirming it happened the day before Drake had visited Wayne in jail.
It appears to have been extremely difficult news for Wayne to take as became so depressed that he remained in his cell for days on end.
"I woke up feeling f**ked up about the f**ked up day that I had… finding out that she f**ked Drake was the absolute worst thing I could've ever found out,” he continues.
Drake and Wayne appear to have put their differences behind them though as they have since collaborated on a variety of tracks, including 2013 track Love Me and last year’s hit by Nicki Minaj, Only, which also features Chris Brown.
