LL Cool J says it "feels phenomenal" to be co-hosting tonight's Grammy Nominations Concert Live! alongside Taylor Swift.
The 44-year-old rapper is preparing to present the prestigious music awards event at Bridgestone Arena, in Nashville - which features some of the hottest acts around.
The actual awards ceremony won't take place for a few months, but LL is already feeling the excitement thanks to tonight's show.
"It feels phenomenal," he told ET when asked about co-hosting the event with Taylor.
"I think that people will be pleasantly surprised, and hopefully they'll really enjoy themselves. I'm hoping that this building is just full of fans that just want to have a great time and listen to great music."
Maroon 5, fun., Luke Bryan and Ne-Yo are among the performers in this evening's show, and have been rehearsing ahead of the event. The annual concert - which started in 2007 ' is usually held in Los Angeles, but LL says the shift to Nashville is suggestive of the event's focus on real artists.
"This is a music show for music fans," he said.
"By leaving Los Angeles and coming to Nashville and doing the show here, we're proving to everyone that this show really is for everybody. I think we're taking a leap of faith, and you should take it with us."
Carly Rae Jepsen is hotly tipped to score several nominations tonight.
Billboard.com editor Tye Comer told ABC News that although the singer might not receive a nod for her smash hit Call Me Maybe, she is likely to be recognised for making a big impact on the music scene this year.
'I think that she is going to certainly get a Best New Artist nomination but the popular songs, the ones that you can never get away from on radio, aren't necessarily the ones that the Grammy voting committee gives nominations to. I definitely think that Jepsen can expect to have a few nominations under her belt,' he explained.
Tye also thinks R&B artist Frank Ocean will be named in all four big categories; Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Best New Artist.
The music expert expects British folk band Mumford & Sons to get a number of look-ins, including Record of the Year for I Will Wait.
The concert will be broadcast live in the US from 10 pm ET tonight.
The Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on February 10 in Los Angeles.
