Kim Kardashian says her whole family support Bruce Jenner, “no matter what”.

The former Olympian revealed his transition into a woman during an interview with Diane Sawyer last month.

And Kim and her siblings’ reactions to the news will be chronicled in a two-part E! series, set to air on May 17.

Opening up about the reasons for the brood taking part in the show, Kim told Access Hollywood that they all wanted to support other families who may be going through similar situations.

"Every family member gets really emotional,” Kim said of the special. “And you'll see moments – I think that's why we really, really wanted to do this special, because other families are definitely going through what we're going through. And every family member has a different reaction, and that's OK."

Clips from the upcoming show reveal Kim’s half-sister Kendall Jenner breaking down in tears after learning of Bruce’s intent to transition.

But Kim insists that despite Kendall’s emotional reaction, the entire family are fully supportive of Bruce.

"At the end of the day, we all support Bruce, no matter what," she said. "But there's a journey that you have to go on to understand it. That journey is different for everybody.

"Bruce really wanted to help other families as well, and make this really informative. And you see our raw emotion – that's who we are. I hope it helps other people."

Kim previously revealed that she is thrilled Bruce finally ended 18 months of speculation by undergoing the interview with Diane.

And her happiness is shared entirely by Bruce himself, who Kim said is more than happy that the news is now public.

“He’s so happy. I think it’s the sense of the relief from all of the amazing support he’s felt. It’s a really brave thing to come out and be so truthful, and to have all of that support meant the world to him, and our family,” Kim gushed to ET last week.
