Kim Kardashian was reportedly left "horrified" by Kanye West grabbing her on the red carpet of the Grammys.
The A-list couple attended the prestigious music ceremony in Los Angeles earlier this month, where the rapper openly groped his wife's butt on the red carpet while kissing her on the mouth. It may have seemed like a sweet gesture from Kanye, but it's thought Kim is feeling wary of how the act echoed that of a similar move pulled by her spouse in 2009 with his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose.
The two women have been rivals since Amber dubbed Kim a "home-wrecker" in 2012, when the reality star and musician began dating.
"Kim was horrified by Kanye's overt PDA on the red carpet when he squeezed her bum. They had a massive bust-up after the Grammy Awards because she felt like he was trying to treat her like his ex," an insider divulged to British magazine Closer.
"He's often trying to influence every detail of her style and how she behaves, and the PDA at the awards made her worry he wants another version of Amber."
Kim apparently saw the smooch as "cheap and tacky" and despite the couple being parents to 20-month-old daughter North, she can't help but feel constantly compared to her husband's ex.
Another request Kanye reportedly made was that Kim shaved her head, which also left her horrified as that is the look sported by Amber. Things have become increasingly tense between the women this week as Amber lashed out at Kim's 17-year-old half sister Kylie Jenner, calling her a baby and slamming Tyga, 25, for allegedly dating her. Kim's sister Khloé then stepped in, with Khloé and Amber engaging in a war of words on Twitter which included Amber calling Kim a "w***e".
On top of the personal dramas Kanye caused commotion when he stormed the stage as Beck received the best album Grammy. Like in 2009 at the MTV Video Music Awards with Taylor Swift, who was accepting best female video, he once again claimed Beyoncé Knowles deserved the prize.
"After everything Kim was feeling about Amber, Kanye's outburst was the last straw. She just wanted to enjoy the event, but admitted to friends she was worried something was going to set off another outburst," the source added.
