The HMV Hammersmith Apollo in London saw the gathering of a number of rock luminaries to benefit the charity Killing Cancer which raises money for the cancer treatment Photodynamic Therapy (PDT).

The Thursday night show included performances from former Verve member Richard Ashcroft, a solo Roger Daltrey, Bryan Adams, Jeff Beck, Debbie Harry and the Who with Daltrey and Pete Townshend.

Throughout the night, a number of fellow musicians took the stage to backup the main artists including the Whos touring band (John "Rabbit" Bundrick, Zak Starkey, Pino Palladino, Simon Townshend), Jody Linscott and Billy Nichols.
