Kelly Clarkson insists there’s nothing “wrong with her” for not having a boyfriend.
The American songstress rose to fame after winning the very first series of American Idol. She has since enjoyed global success with her quirky blend of light rock and pop tracks.
The 29-year-old is currently single, and doesn’t see why not being in a relationship at her age is a problem.
“Well it is a good age but it is funny ‘cos I’m from a small town so everyone’s married with children, so when I go home it’s like, ‘What’s wrong with her?’” she quipped in an interview with Gay Times magazine.
Kelly can’t commit to a relationship. The star is far too busy touring to think about maintaining a long-distance love.
“They just don’t get it sometimes. It’s almost funny when people are like ‘Why aren’t you dating someone?’ I’m like ‘When would I date them? I’m gonna be in Australia next month and then I’m gonna be in Europe again in November so I don’t know how I’d date anyone,” she explained.
