On Thursday 30th May, Proud Camden will host its newest weekly club night, Get Lucky, with an exuberant, star-studded launch party.
Taking inspiration from Daft Punk’s latest number one hit, Proud invites Londoners to get on down with lady luck herself. Headlining the opening night will be the infamous Kelis, and support from Them&Us, YYZ and international DJ Blonde Ambition will keep revealers partying until the early hours. In the weeks to follow, Get Lucky will see DJ slots from the likes of Mike Skinner (The Streets), Charli XCX & Alexis Knox – a line up that places new Thursday nights at Proud at the top of everybody’s wish list.
The night will be giving clubbers a chance to win a selection of ‘money-can’t-buy’ prizes and special Proud giveaways: ranging from festival and fashion show tickets, backstage passes and more exclusive experiences; runner-up prizes include dinners at Proud Cabaret, VIP stables and free cocktails..
The launch party will see an array of incredible talent; Kelis, perhaps best-known for her Top 5 smash “Milkshake,” and the million-selling ringtone “Bossy”, she has worked with music’s biggest talent, including Andre 3000, Bjork and Nas. Support comes from Them&Us, the new duo consisting of beatbox-legend Killa Kela and Basement Jaxx vocalist Ami Carmine, and Guardian ‘New Band Of The Day’, YYZ.
After an incredible start to the year where the likes of A$AP Rocky, Labrinth, Maverick Sabre and Oribtal have performed to a born-again Camden crowd that includes the likes of; Nick Grimshaw, Reggie Yates, Caroline Flack, Laura Whitmore, Rizzle Kicks, Coldplay, Tinie Tempah and Mel C. Guests of the club can expect a clubbing experience where everyone becomes a VIP by partying alongside A-list celebrities.
