Kanye West has apologised to Beck.

The hip-hop star caused a stir when he rushed on stage at the Grammys this year as Beck was receiving the album of the year prize. It was reminiscent of him storming Taylor Swift’s best female video VMAs speech in 2009 and many thought he was joking, but backstage he proved he wasn’t when he insisted Beyoncé Knowles should have won the Grammy.

Having previously admitted he might have been hasty, Kanye has now extended an olive branch.

“I would like to publicly apologize to Beck, I’m sorry Beck,” he wrote on Twitter, which has been retweeted over 67,000 times.

The outspoken rapper didn’t stop there, instead admitting he’d been unnecessarily rude to Bruno Mars too. In the past Kanye slammed the decision to give Bruno two MTV VMAs in 2013, saying he only got them because of how he looks.

It seems Yeezus has had a change of heart.

“I also want to publicly apologize to Bruno Mars, I used to hate on him but I really respect what he does as an artist,” he said.

“I also would love for Bruno to sing this hook on this song 88 Keys / Puff and I produced… I even asked Tyler to shoot the vid (sic).”

The ‘Taylor’ in question is thought to be Swift, who Kanye has made up with since the 2009 incident. They were spotted together at the Grammys earlier this month and there are rumours they might work together.

Kanye recently sat down with radio DJ Zane Lowe for a no-holds barred interview. It’s not the first time he has done this, with the star infamously telling Zane he created leather jogging pants last time around.

This time he was as outspoken as always, and he seemingly hinted that the Grammys weren’t fun this time around.

“I hadn’t been in six years and the Grammys are definitely like an ex-girlfriend, soon as you get in the car with them, you want to go right back home,” he said.

Kanye insisted that he will “literally kiss the feet” of anyone he admires, but has no time for those who don’t respect him.

“I'm way nicer to people in general...but when people start playing games, I stop... Any moment, I hit that Ye button. Right back to day one,” he said.
