Absolute Radio and Hard Rock Cafe have today announced British band Kaiser Chiefs as part of the Absolute Radio Sessions at the Hard Rock Cafe London on Wednesday 14 May.

The gig will be hosted by Absolute Radio's Sarah Champion, and tickets can only be won by tuning into the radio station, visiting www.absoluteradio.co.uk or www.facebook.com/hardrockcafelondon. Highlights from the gig will be played out on Absolute Radio on Pete Donaldson's evening show from 9pm on the 22nd of May. Commenting on the gig, Sarah Champion said, "We've all witnessed the momentous comeback from the Kaiser Chiefs - this is set to be one of the hottest tickets in town, and is not to be missed".

Kaiser Chiefs current single "Coming Home" is currently being played on Absolute Radio and the band’s new album 'Education, Education, Education & War debuted at the top of the UK albums chart. Consisting of Ricky Wilson, Andrew 'Whitey' White, Nick 'Peanut' Baines, Simon Rix and Vijay Mistry, Kaiser Chiefs have released five albums and 13 singles, including the hits I Predict A Riot, Oh My God, Ruby and Never Miss a Beat. Lead singer, Ricky Wilson, has recently been in the spotlight as a coach on BBC show, The Voice.

The Absolute Radio session gigs continue the legacy of phenomenal live music at the rock and roll hallowed grounds of Hard Rock Cafe London, which has seen acts such as Mystery Jets, Ben Howard, The Lumineers, Travis and The Vaccines play as part of the Absolute Radio sessions in previous years and most recently Los Angeles natives, Foster the People.
