The preparations for the 2012 edition of the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza have already begun and throughout the morning and early afternoon, a panel of five judges made up of musician Matthew Spiteri, singer/songwriter Eliza Borg Rizzo, singer and former competition winner Mike Spiteri, musician Yasmin Kuyzimakis and last but not least, the last president of UKAM Horace J Anastasi listened to ninety (90) songs, out of which they had to select a total of forty-nine (49) noting that the final place is reserved for a song to be presented in the final by SIMONE GAUCI, the winner of Passport 2 Indifest, a singing competition organized by Spiteri Lucas Entertainment on Sas-Sitta throughout the winter months. � The list of the people who made it through to the second phase of the competition which can be noted below includes quite a number of fomidable names with past history in the local…
