Justin Timberlake says he is not scared of getting older.

The singer turned actor is starring in new movie In Time where time really is money.

But the Sexy Back star says he is not worried about losing his youthful looks and stamina because older musicians give him inspiration to keep going.

“I’m not afraid of the idea of ageing,” he told Extra TV. “You meet someone who’s like 80-years-old, and they don’t see themselves as 80-years-old.”

“Tell Mick Jagger how old he is. He’s still all up on stage doing his thing, man.”

Justin stars in the new film with Olivia Wilde and Amanda Seyfried. The science-fiction movie is set in the future where people stop ageing at 25 and must work to buy themselves more time.

The 30-year-old is working hard to ensure that for as long as he is on the planet it will be a safe place to be.

He was honoured at the Environmental Media Association Awards over the weekend for his contribution in promoting green issues.

“I like a lot of green things like nature and money and things like Kermit the Frog, golf greens, Al Green, hell – I even love Seth Green,” he joked. “I like all sorts of green herbs, some of which I take with medical prescription. It’s legal! Uh, green tea. That’s what I was referring to. Green tea.”
