Justin Bieber will be arrested if he ever returns to Argentina.

The 21-year-old singer was requested to attend questioning in November last year following an alleged assault in 2013 at a nightclub in Buenos Aires.

Photographer Diego Pesoa claimed that Bieber ordered one of his bodyguards to assault him when he attempted to take pictures of the star as he left the nightspot.

On Friday, a judge in Argentina ordered that if Justin makes his way back to the country, he should be detained.

"I consider it pertinent to order the immediate detention of the accused," Judge Alberto Julio Banos' order from April 8 read.

After entertainment website FarandulaShow posted a copy of the court ruling, it was verified to be authentic by court secretary Soledad Nieto.

Judge Banos also ordered the detention of the bodyguard upon a potential return to Argentina.

Back in November, Justin had been asked to return to the country to face questioning over the 2013 incident within the next two months.

However, his failure to do so led to Friday’s court order.

Justin seemed unconcerned as the news was revealed. Instead of worrying about it, he instead partied alongside close friend Kendall Jenner at the Coachella music festival.

The pair, who have long been pals, sparked romance rumours after several intimate shots of Justin with his arms around Kendall made their way onto Instagram.

Kendall has previously denied being anything more than friends with Justin, telling US TV show Nightline: “He’s a longtime friend of our family. Everyone always likes to assume things, but no.”
