Justin Bieber is "pumped" about Carly Rae Jepsen's album, 'Kiss'.

The 'Boyfriend' singer recently phoned Carly - whom he and manger Scooter Braun discovered - after he had heard the completed album to tell her how much he "digs" it.

She told MTV: "I was stoked, him and Scooter called me and he's like 'It's fantastic, you should be pumped,' and it's not often that I say that, but I am pumped. He digs it.

"I hope people like it, but it's fun to know that my friends and family and people around me are digging it and hopefully everyone else likes it too."

Carly, 26, also told how she's been working on the material for the album since she was a teenager and it is great to see her work finally come to fruition.

She added: "I've written on almost every song and these are lyric ideas that I've been collecting since I was like 17, so it's really fun to get to see them put to life.

"It's cool to be able to say with confidence that this is an album that I feel like I've been waiting to make and I'm ready to finally have out there."

Carly - who's debut single, 'Call Me Maybe', was a huge hit earlier this year - also said she can't decide which track to release after second single 'Good Time'.

She added: "We have a few contenders, but we can't decide. I'm really bad at picking those; I'm leaving that to the label. 'Whatever you think, I like them all!' It's like picking your favourite child."
