The video for 'New Lands' – the fourth single to be taken from Audio, Video, Disco – sees a collaboration between Justice and the young Spanish collective Canada. Produced with the help and support of Red Bull, the action takes place in a massive stadium arena.

Together, Canada and Justice imagined a dangerous new game, fought on a tilted track with motorcycles zigzagging past, recalling Norman Jewinson’s ultra violent sci-fi epic Rollerball in which James Caan subjugates his opponents through strength and self-sacrifice.

A one-eyed fighter captures our attention, (echoes of Snake Plissken of John Carpenter’s Escape From New York) as central protagonist amongst the locker room tension. Out of the thick smoke, warriors wearing helmets and armour emerge into the arena. The crowd roars - the combat promises to be merciless. These gladiators practice a brutal new sport that defies the rules of decency and taste…

The masterful direction of the sport calls to mind the vivacity of Oliver Stone’s Any Given Sunday. All the same, Canada effortlessly sidestep tipping their cinematographic inspirations into cliché imposing their own subjective vision, ushering us on a voyage once again through the world-beating imagery that Justice's ephocal music demands - New Lands, new landscapes, new territories!

The 'New Lands' EP is out now on Ed Banger Records / Because Music.
