Joey Ramone new single online

Joey Ramone’s posthumous solo album is coming and a clip for the first single ‘Rock N Roll Is The Answer’ is online.

…Ya Know? is Ramone’s second solo album, a collection of 15 unreleased tracks (including solo versions of ‘Life’s A Gas’ and ‘Merry Christmas (I Don’t Want To Fight Tonight)’) recorded before his death in 2001.

The tunes have been beefed up by contributions from Joan Jett, Stevie Van Zandt, Richie Ramone, members of Cheap Trick, The Dictators and his brother Mickey Leigh, with production from Ramones’ producers Ed Stasium and Jean Beauvoir.

The first single ‘Rock N Roll Is The Answer’ will be released as a 7-inch on Record Store Day, April 21, and the organisation has put a version of it online with an accompanying video montage of pressing vinyl.
