Jessie J has learnt not to talk about her love life.

The British singer used to consider herself bisexual, but earlier this year stated she no longer feels that way and is only interested in men.

Some people slated Jessie's comments, so now the star lets her music do the talking when it comes to matters of the heart.

"I don't talk about my love life that much, other than in my music - I've learnt that," Jessie revealed to the British edition of Hello! magazine.

"Your Loss I'm Found was the most personal song I wrote on the album. We've all been there, when you fall in love with the right person at the wrong time or the wrong person at the right time. This is about being in love with someone who isn't allowing you to love them how you know you could."

Jessie stunned at the recent GQ Men of the Year Awards in London, wearing a plunging green dress.

Just like her bold fashion statements, Jessie is confident when it comes to stage performances.

Her new album Sweet Talker is set for release in October and the 26-year-old hopes people will sing along to the catchy new tracks.

"I love to sing. I sing a lot - I'm an over-the-top singer. There aren't many of us about at the moment, especially in the UK. Soft singing is cool, but it's never what I've done," she laughed.

"One thing I did on this album was I sang my a**e off. I didn't hold back, I want to have moments where people sing along - but I want to have moments where I go, 'This is what I do; this is why.' I feel like a woman on this album."
