Jessie J can see children in her future "very soon".

The 25-year-old singer has started to feel broody after spending time with her nieces and nephews.

The pop star joked she's got a big stumbling block to overcome first, which is finding someone to father her kids.

"I see children in my future, 100 per cent. Very soon," she revealed to the latest edition of UK magazine Marie Claire.

"Obviously, I need to find someone to have kids with first! When I turned 25, something changed in me. I started thinking I want my kids to look back and say, 'Wasn't my mummy amazing?' I've really started thinking about what I'm leaving for them."

Jessie has previously been subject to speculation about her sexuality. At the moment she's all about men and taking the conventional path in life.

"I'd love to have kids and get married. I look at my parents and know how lucky I am to have parents who are still flirting with each other after 33 years," she continued. "They're so happy together, but happiness doesn't just happen; you have to work for it; and adapt your lifestyle to make love work."

Jessie has high standards when it comes to potential suitors. She hopes she's rid herself of the more masculine image she portrayed in 2010 when she burst onto the scene with Do It Like a Dude.

"I won't settle for anything less [than Mr Right]. The right person will appear and it will be amazing," she confidently continued.

"I think I'm more approachable to men now. I hope so anyway - I want men to flirt with me! I just need to meet that person... probably at the airport; that's the only place I ever am. Maybe someone on security."
