Jessica Simpson is absolutely “done” with having children.

The 34-year-old star is mother to two-year-old daughter Maxwell and 14-month-old son Ace with husband Eric Johnson.

The couple are happy with their family size at the moment and don’t expect to be expanding their brood anytime soon.

“Oh, we are done," Jessica revealed on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show Tuesday. "I say we're done. I don't want to accidentally get pregnant one day and then that poor kid feels like it wasn't meant to be or something. We've got the girl and we've got the boy."

It’s rumoured Jessica wakes up every morning toasting her marriage with a glass of champagne, following her and Eric’s wedding on July 5.

But the singer-and-fashion designer says this speculation can’t be farther from the truth.

"That is so not true," she laughed. "If anything, we wake up and I'm like, 'Stop breathing on me!'...We have felt like ever since we got married, we've been kind of living on this honeymoon, for some reason. Life is better. But we don't toast every morning with champagne."

Jessica also revealed she dropped her family name in order to adopt her husband’s.

But her public surname remains ‘Simpson’ for the time being.

"Jessica Johnson. Doesn't that sound like the best stripper name ever?" she joked. "I did change it, but for everything else it stays the same. I guess I didn't change it on my Instagram or my Twitter, so does that not make it official?"

Jessica thinks it’s great to have the opportunity to use both surnames as she sees fit.

If the star needs to make dinner at a fancy restaurant, she’d be most inclined to use her more famous moniker.

"It depends on what restaurant it is. If it's a hard restaurant to get into, I will definitely say 'Simpson.' It helps a little bit," she confessed. "My licence says 'Jessica Johnson.' That makes it legit."
