Carly Rae Jepsen’s music manager is convinced her new single is going to storm the music charts.

Scooter Braun has represented Justin Bieber’s protégé since her career kicked off with Call Me Maybe.

And the music rep says fans should keep their ears pricked for Carly’s new break-up anthem Tonight I’m Getting Over You.

"I was just listening to it on my phone," he told MTV News. "You'll hear it very, very soon. And Nicki killed the verse, and it's great.”

The track was teased by the School Boy Records executive earlier this month. Scooter said the full release will hit airwaves very soon.

Carly and Nicki previously worked together when the singer performed on the season finale of American Idol.

The women seem to have struck up a friendship, bonding over man-bashing. Scooter thinks they’ve nailed the formula for success on the pop charts.

“When Carly Rae and Nicki get together, they make songs about getting over guys," Scooter said. "Whenever girls do songs about getting over men, they seem to do really well."

Nicki previously collaborated with Scooter’s biggest client, Justin Bieber.

The pair worked on the teen heartthrob’s track Beauty and a Beat last year.
