Jenny McCarthy says Justin Bieber is handling his rumoured break-up "very well".
The bubbly blonde revealed her thoughts on how Justin is dealing with his alleged high-profile split from girlfriend Selena Gomez.
Jenny assessed the situation and concluded that he's doing a much better job facing the public in a composed manner than she ever did when her past romances failed.
"I think he's handled it very well," Jenny explained to ET Online."I can't even imagine starting in the industry as young as he has, and then to go through a public break-up so young [is tough]. I've had them in my thirties and I was still [upset] to have to do it in front of the media. I think he's handling it good. He's got a smile on his face and he's moving forward, and that's all he can do."
The 40-year-old former Playboy star presented Justin, 18, with one of the three awards he won at last night's American Music Awards. Jenny shared some words of wisdom with Justin, based on what she's learnt from her past experiences of dating in the public eye.
"I'd advise him to take some time and think about what he wants and what went wrong in the past," Jenny explained. "Just so he doesn't make the same mistakes, over and over and over and over again."
Jenny joked that she has a cougar crush on the teen pop star. She laughed she wouldn't mind dating the heartthrob herself, should his relationship status be confirmed as single.
"Can you imagine how hilarious that would be?" Jenny laughed. "That would be the cougar score of the century. 'Jenny McCarthy Dates Justin Bieber.' I want some Bieber fever - and I want a Bieber rash."
