Jennifer Lopez is apparently talking to Marc Anthony every day.

The singer-and-actress split from Marc in July 2011, and he later filed for divorce in April 2012. Although Jennifer is now dating back up dancer Casper Smart, there is speculation she and Marc are growing closer again. It has also been claimed that Jennifer is having second thoughts about settling down with Casper, and Marc has been offering her support and advice during daily phone calls.

'Marc knows things between Jen and Casper haven't been going that well and doesn't see Casper as a threat,' a source told British magazine Closer. 'He desperately wants him and Jen to be a family again. He knows he won't win her over with lavish gifts, though. He's been phoning Jen daily, telling her how amazing she looked on the red carpet and how much Emme reminds him of her. He's sent her the lyrics of a song he wrote about her and a framed photo of the kids.'

Jennifer and Marc vowed to remain on good terms following the end of their relationship for the sake of their twins Max and Emme. The 43-year-old beauty is believed to have recently met her ex in New York City to discuss their friendship, and Jennifer has always appreciated Marc's advice.

'Despite their troubles, Jen says Marc has always been a trusted partner in business and life and that's something she isn't sure she feels with Casper,' an insider revealed. 'She admits she's missed him and has started turning to Marc for advice on her career. Jen's confused about her feelings for Marc and feels torn. She just needs some time to think things through. Jen wants a man who can be her partner and take charge when she needs him to.'
