Jay-Z rings in 2013 with Coldplay

Last night at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, Jay-Z and Coldplay took the stage to ring in 2013.

As the clock approached midnight, DJ Cassidy spun tunes for the crowd while VIP guests sipped on specialty cocktails mixed with D’USSE, Jay-Z's cognac of choice.

Those in attendance included Christina Aguilera, Victor Cruz, Jake Gyllenhaal, Adrienne Bailon and more. In front of a packed house, the rapper and rocker toasted the New Year with the help of Martin's wife Gwyneth Paltrow, kids Apple and Moses and singer Bridget Kelly.

The night came to an end with Jay-Z's "New York State of Mind." After the show, Jay-Z and friends filtered into the D'USSE Lounge backstage where they continued the celebration.
