Jason Derülo has revealed his top tip for disguising “a fart” on a posh dinner date.
The American singer was a guest on the Kyle and Jackie O radio show, where he was put in a number of hypothetical awkward romantic scenarios. He was then asked to remedy the situations.
Jason has revealed how he would cover-up passing wind while enjoying a romantic meal.
“What you do is, you kind of fart gently, but you have to move with it. So like, it could have been the chair that did it. So if you’ve got to fart, you do a dance move, and then you keep on moving so that the attention doesn’t go to the fart,” he quipped.
“Or you shout something really loudly, like ‘Excuse me waiter!’”
Jason also broached the subject of waking up next to a girl who wasn’t as attractive as he had initially thought the evening before. The 22-year-old star – who is currently single – revealed his fail safe plan.
“I’m not a mean person, you know, but sometimes you have a couple of drinks and you know, after each drink, the girl looks hotter and hotter and hotter. Sometimes you get into the situation where you know, she’s just a little different when you wake up,” he described.
“So what you do is, you get up and you pull up your pants and you’re like, ‘Oh my goodness, I’m late, I’m late, I’m late, I’ve got to go, I’ve got to go. I’ve got an appointment that I’ve forgot. I’m sorry, could you just leave your number and I’ll get back to you.’”
Jason is currently on the road promoting his second studio album, Future History. The hunky star loves when his mother visits him after being away from home for so long.
“I’d say it’s been about four months [since I’ve been home]. I’m jet-setting for real,” he said.
“I’m pretty low maintenance. I have people around me who are like my family or are my family, so I’m cool. I bring my mom out on the road probably like once a month. When she comes out it’s like vacation for her.”
