Jennifer Lopez wants to live next door to Charlie Hunnam.

The US star is well known for her music, but also acts from time to time. She's back in front of the camera for new movie The Boy Next Door, where she plays a woman who embarks on an affair with her younger neighbour.

Ryan Guzman, 27, takes on the role of naughty neighbour, but in real life Jennifer has her eye on two British stars who she'd love to move in close by.

"Can I have a man next door?" Jennifer giggled when People magazine asked which boy she'd like to have as her neighbour.

"If I had a man next door I would have like Charlie Hunnam or Tom Hardy or Frank Grillo. Those are my kind of men next door."

Jennifer recently told US TV host Ellen DeGeneres that she's sick of being called a cougar and she's not after younger men. However, the star seemed to forget this when naming her dream neighbour, as both Tom and Charlie are younger than the 45-year-old beauty.

In reality though, Jennifer doesn't reckon it's smart to date so close to home.

"I think it's a bad idea to date the boy next door because you can't get away from him when you want to," she exclaimed.

For those who are up for some neighbourly fun, Jennifer gave her best advice on how to get your crush's attention.

"I would ask the boy next door... You have to be kind of clever. I mean you could ask for some sugar. It's a little cliché, a little bit on the nose, but I bet it works," she smiled.
