Iggy Azalea has denied she has a sex tape.

The 24-year-old Australian singer took to her Twitter page on Thursday to furiously hit back at claims that she features in an X-rated video being shopped by Vivid Entertainment.

Iggy also used the opportunity to blast those involved in selling sex tapes, saying that doing so makes them sex offenders.

In a lengthy post on Twitter, Iggy wrote: “Obviously I've seen the news feed today and i just want to say…

“I dont have a sex tape but for the record... Anyone who releases or attempts to make profit off someone else's intimate moments against their will is a sex offender sic).”

Iggy also said she was disgusted by the amount of media interest the reports of such a tape had caused.

The statuesque blonde added that she hopes her situation might prompt a change in privacy laws.

“It honestly makes me sick to see the media encourage any other attitude towards those sorts of people, we should want to protect our women,” she wrote.

“And i really hope that america will follow Europe and their laws to better protect peoples privacy and fundamental rights. (sic)”

Iggy clearly felt better after her rant, finishing her message by writing: “And on that note, I'm off to get a manicure. peaaaaccceeeeeee outtttttt *drops the mic*”

Vivid Entertainment boss Steven Hirsch released a statement on Thursday claiming to have a video of Iggy and her boyfriend Nick Young.

"I believe there would be a huge demand for her sex tape," he said in the press release. "Iggy has proved that she's an amazing talent...We are conducting our due diligence and if we are satisfied with our review, we will definitely try to make a deal to distribute the tape."
