One of the UK’s most innovative and impressive live acts - Hidden Orchestra - will take to St. John’s Hackney to perform a live site-specific set on 13th November.

Hidden Orchestra will take to the ethereal setting of St. John’s Hackney to perform a live site-specific set, coupling the innovative and eclectic creations of multi-instrumentalist composer Joe Acheson with projection-mapped visuals.

The band brings an abundance of energy to each live show, combining the various styles and genres Acheson has immersed himself in throughout his career. Utilizing two drummers and a host of guest musicians to reproduce the dark and beautiful atmospherics of their records, Hidden Orchestra’s live show is an enthralling exercise in controlled experimentation and stunning visuals.

It is a rare chance to see the group’s mesmerizing site-specific A/V set, using projection-mapped visuals, the band will fill St. John’s already grand setting with an engrossing visual display. The venue is quickly becoming synonymous with stunning sets, as St. John’s Sessions has transformed the space into London’s home of the best ambient, electronic and experimental musicians from around the globe.

On the back of some incredible shows last year at the likes of Glastonbury and Simple Things, it is a welcome and exciting return to the capital for Acheson’s lauded ensemble.
