Gwen Stefani isn’t sure she wants to leave the Montana wilderness.

The 45-year-old Hollaback Girl hitmaker is currently enjoying holiday in the state, which is known for its pristine forests and natural beauty.

Gwen was born and raised in the densely populated Southern California region and her time in Montana has the star reconsidering whether she wants to return to the big city.

“Wow #Montana u r so beautiful #favoritevacaever #neverwanttogohome (sic),” she wrote in a caption on her Instagram account which was attached to an image of herself holding 17-month-old son Apollo close to her chest.

In the black and white photo, she is pictured wearing a cowboy hat and a rugged plaid shirt while standing with Apollo in a meadow that appeared to be located in the middle of a forest.

Also on Sunday, Gwen shared a video clip on Instagram which sees her riding horses.

The star also struck a pose in the shadows while surrounded by trees in another photo.

Gwen shares three children with her husband Gavin Rossdale, including Apollo’s older brothers Kingston, nine, and Zuma, six.

The pop star was relatively late to the Instagram game, only joining the photo sharing site last January.

And she recently admitted it took her a long time to figure out how to share her life via social media.

"It took me a while to get into. It's so awkward. Who said it's OK for me to sit in my kitchen and take pictures of myself until I find one I like?" Gwen asked the British edition of Cosmopolitan.
