Ariana Grande’s demands are reportedly so extravagant it’s like the “president is in town”.
The 21-year-old singer has once again been accused of acting like a diva.
The claims stem from a person who recently worked with her on a recent television project.
“It’s like the president is in town,” the source told New York Post’s Page Six. “Everyone is kind of stressed and at the same time, they’re making fun of her because it’s much ado about nothing, really.”
The insider claims Ariana’s attitude around other people is what’s most noticeable.
And the report also alleges that her behaviour made the atmosphere on set “very intense”.
“She kind of speaks down to everyone around her,” the source added.
Ariana recently attempted to shoot down rumours of diva-like behaviour.
During her time in Australia, she was accused of cancelling a photocall and also demanding at a different event that she only be shot from the left.
However, Ariana insisted: “There’s no record to set straight. It was just a photographer who got mad at me because I left to change my outfit mid-shoot because I didn’t like my top.
“He’s now said all these ridiculous and untrue things about me and I’m just like, you know what, that’s not real, that’s nonsense, my fans know who I am, my friends know who I am, and that’s all that matters.”
The allegations also come after E! News host Giuliana Rancic accused Ariana of being a diva at the American Music Awards last year.
Claiming that the star’s press team tried to get her to change position on the red carpet so the singer could be filmed only from the left, Giuliana said: “It was like you either get on the other side or we don’t do an interview.
“It’s one thing if it’s Mariah [Carey]. I’ll get on any side. I’ll bend down. I’ll climb a ladder … I’ll do whatever it takes. But when you’re new on the block, trying to earn your stripes … You gotta do what you gotta do. Try to earn a great reputation, try to go overboard to please people.”
