Ariana Grande forgot the words to her own song on stage Monday night.

The 20-year-old hitmaker, dubbed the next Mariah Carey, admits she was forced to ad lib through a track after blanking on the lyrics during a performance.

The singer took the flub in stride and shared her spacey moment with her 9.9 million Twitter followers shortly after.

"just forgot the words to Right There on stage," she wrote, adding in another message, "lol it was awesome," (sic).

Ariana skyrocketed to fame this year when her debut album, Yours Truly, soared to number one on the US Billboard 200 music chart.

The Baby I singer recently wrapped up filming for the music video accompanying her single for Right There.

She logged onto Twitter after a long day on set sharing details with fans on Sunday.

"Had no service the whole day but the #rightthere video shoot was soooo fun," she gushed.

The budding star, who is dating The Wanted's Nathan Sykes, is just getting over a vocal injury after TMZ reported she "fried" her vocal chords in September.

She took to Twitter shortly thereafter to assure fans they have nothing to worry about.

"For those of u asking about my voice I screamed too much at my party totally irresponsible but it's better now, thanks for the well wishes (sic)," she wrote.
