Selena Gomez is reportedly being sued by a perfume company.

The actress and pop star has fallen into a spot of legal trouble after she failed to carry out promotional commitments, according to TMZ.

Adrenalina Inc. says that it made a deal with the 20-year-old where they would develop fragrances and other products related to the scents using her name.

In the legal documents the prosecutors claim they spent in excess of $2 million towards marketing.

However Selena and her agent allegedly made up reasons to cease the deal.

As the celebrity apparently failed to attend important meetings for promotion they state they were left without a spokesperson.

Adrenalina is seeking funds for damages and also wants the courts to stop her from from pulling out of the deal.

It comes as Selena sparks rumours she is back together with Justin Bieber.

Her on-and-off boyfriend posted an image on Instagram showing him sitting on her lap.

The heartthrob singer can be seen working on his laptop while she looks at the camera and cuddles the shirtless star from behind.

"’You've been makin music for too long babe come cuddle' –her," he captioned the shot.

The pair last broke up over the New Year when Justin was rumoured to be involved with a Victoria’s Secret model.
