Lady Gaga and Sir Elton John are apparently friends again.
The two musicians have had a strained relationship for some time, with Elton making comments about his former pal just earlier this month.
However, the New York Post’s Page Six now reports that Gaga and the British star have buried the hatchet and had dinner together at Craig’s, West Hollywood, with Johnny Depp this week.
“Johnny and David [Furnish] had beers. Gaga was having some brown liquor in a tumbler. Her hair was crazy and she was wearing a nude/peach-coloured dress,” and insider divulged to the website.
Trying to match Gaga in the eccentric style stakes, Johnny was apparently wearing “dangling suspenders”.
Completing the star-studded party was Larry King, who reportedly popped over to chat to the group.
Gaga, 27, may be godmother to the children Elton raises with David Furnish, Zachary and Elijah, but Elton seemed pessimistic about their friendship earlier this month.
“I’d like to be able to talk to her right now, but I can’t get through to her. And there are times when you have to listen. When your persona begins to take over your music and becomes more important, you enter a dangerous place,” he is quoted as saying.
"My album's sound reflects the fact that all the things I love at the moment are stripped down. It's the kind of direction Gaga should be going in."
Elton is known for being candid about his opinions and has also badmouthed stars such as Madonna and Miley Cyrus.
