Fleetwood Mac Glastonbury rumours extinguished

Fleetwood Mac have announced their new US tour dates which coincide with Glastonbury ruling them out from this years festival.

So the 'Rumours' which had been doing the rounds have now been silenced and UK Mac fans face a long flight to see their idols this summer.

Still only one act, Malian singer Rokia Traore, has been confirmed so far as part of "an act of solidarity with the musicians from Mali", where Islamists in the north have banned music.

An artist from the country will open the Pyramid Stage each day.

The Rolling Stones are the other big rumour for this summer's event which takes place June 26-30.
