The Flaming Lips always leave their fans guessing as to their next move. That's why it was surprising back in 2010 when they did a track-for-track cover of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.

Well, the Wayne Coyne fronted group must have enjoyed that project because they are doing it again, this time with the King Crimson classic In the Court of the Crimson King. According to The Guardian, the album is called Playing Hide and Seek with the Ghosts of Dawn and is already available at select independent record stores on vinyl. A full release via the web is expected soon.

The Lips only actually perform as a unit on one track, relying on collaborators like New Fumes, Linear Downfall, Spaceface, and Stardeath and White Dwarfs to perform the rest of the set.

According to those involved, it looks like these Lips cover collaborations could become a regular project.

The Flaming Lips as a whole are currently preparing for the release of their fifteenth album The Terror.

The track list:
•21st Century Schizoid Man – Linear Downfall
•I Talk To The Wind – New Fumes
•Epitaph – The Flaming Lips, Stardeath and White Dwarfs, New Fumes, Linear Downfall, Spaceface
•Moonchild – Spaceface
•In The Court of the King Crimson – Stardeath and White Dwarfs
