Evan Ross “would love” to have lots of children with wife Ashlee Simpson.
The 26-year-old son of Diana Ross and the 30-year-old songstress wed in August following just over a year of dating. Now it seems the smitten musician is eager to start a family with his love.
"I would love to [have kids]. As many as possible,” he gushed to Us Weekly at the Los Angeles premiere of Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.
The couple’s wedding took place at Evan’s famous mother’s estate in Connecticut. Whilst Ashlee had previously been married to Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, it was her new husband’s first nuptials. And apparently, married life suits him just fine.
"It's the best thing ever,” Evan said. “I actually want to get back to her, although I'm excited to be on the carpet - it's incredible."
Evan had spent the first year of their relationship getting to know not only Ashlee, but her five-year-old son Bronx from her marriage to Pete. Now, he’s over the moon they’ve made things official.
"I've been with her now for a while so it just feels right," Evan explained. "I'm happy to say she's my wife."
Ashlee’s former husband recently welcomed a child of his own with girlfriend Meagan Camper. On August 20, their son Saint Lazslo was born.
Career wise, Evan has been upping the heat in his acting career to go alongside his music. He stars as Messalla in the latest Hunger Games installment, which is set for release on November 21.
