Elvis Costello will scale back his shows this summer, dropping the Spectacular Spinning Songbook, which saw his sets each night chosen by the spin of a fair wheel, to a straight forward show with his band the Imposters (keyboardist Steve Nieve, drummer Pete Thomas and bassist Davey Faragher).
Shows are scheduled for throughout Europe starting with a June 26 date in Cork, Ireland through Bergen, Norway on August 3. Costello promises more dates will be added.
