Ellen DeGeneres' cats get confused when they see Portia de Rossi on TV.
The popular talkshow host has been married to the Arrested Development star since 2008. Portia currently appears in drama Scandal alongside Kerry Washington and while her wife loves tuning in, their pets aren't quite so keen.
"Tonight my favorite show is on! I love watching @PortiadeRossi on #Scandal. It makes me so happy. It also confuses the cats. (sic)" Ellen wrote on Twitter.
Ellen also used the social networking site to tease her followers about an upcoming guest on her show.
"Monday, @SelenaGomez is on the show! For now you'll have to settle for this selfie. (sic)," she wrote, attaching a picture of herself with the Spring Breakers star.
And it seems the 22-year-old thoroughly enjoyed being interviewed by Ellen, 56. Selena took to Instagram to post pictures of all the food the pair devoured in between takes.
"I've only been theellenshow for 20 min. Sums it up," she wrote, alongside a shot of snacks.
"Left Ellen to only end up eating more. (sic)"
It seems things are back on track for Ellen and Portia, 41, after rumoured marriage difficulties. It's thought things became strained after Portia allegedly entered rehab for drug and alcohol addiction over the summer.
"Ellen says that she and Portia are doing so much better,” a source told Radar Online recently. "Towards the end of last season everything was really taking a toll on her. While Portia was in treatment and everyone was predicting that they were getting a divorce, it was really hard. But thankfully, all of that has passed.”
