Drake has presented the “Hood Grammys” on his Instagram account.

The rapper took it upon himself to hand out a series of awards on social media Sunday, writing in one of his posts: “Grammys need to have a rap year.”

In a series of photos depicting the golden Grammy statuettes, he named Bobby Shmurda winner of “Vocal Performance of the Year,” while Rae Sremmurd’s No Flex Zone and Rich Gang’s Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan’s Lifestyle were competing for Best Performance By A Group Or Duo.

OG Maco was his winner for “Best All Around Turn Up” for U Guessed It.

OVO’s PartyNextDoor won for “Mixtape of the Year” while ILoveMakonnen was awarded “Best Latin Club Anthem” for Tuesday.

Drake is no stranger to receiving actual Grammys himself. His 2011 record Take Care took home the prize for Best Rap Album.

He’s also just earned his 72nd appearance on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

The accolade makes him eighth on the list of musicians with the greatest number of hits, surpassing both The Beatles and Sir Elton John, who have 71 and 68 respectively.

The Canadian music artist’s Grammy posts meanwhile come just over a week after he wrapped up his joint Drake vs Lil Wayne tour with the Southern rapper.

He’s currently focused on his forthcoming album, which he revealed this summer would be titled Views From the 6. The title is thought to be a reference to his native Toronto.
