Depeche Mode single looks set for February 5th

Depeche Mode may be releasing the single Heaven on February 5, giving the world its first listen to music from their upcoming album.

The band has said to expect the new LP, their 13th, in March but have, so far, not given any details about the release.

Even the issuing of the single has not been officially announced although the eagle-eyed folks at Slicing Up Eyeballs found the listing of a CD single and maxi-single on the U.S., U.K. and German Amazon sites.

In addition, Side-Line Magazine claims to have spoken to a rep from Sony Germany who confirmed the release, though mentioning a February 9 release for the U.S., and saying "It is not the best track from the album, wait till you hear the entire album."

The band has announced a tour in support of the new album starting May 7 in Tel Aviv.
