Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama were “really cute together” after she threw him a surprise birthday party.
The Heart Attack singer has been dating the actor since 2010 and wanted to do something special ahead of his 35th birthday on Friday. So on Thursday night, the 22-year-old threw a surprise party at a restaurant in Los Angeles with the help of celebrity friends Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher.
“Mila and Ashton seemed to be having a great time,” an eyewitness told US Weekly. “Demi and Wilmer were really cute together too.”
The birthday boy was surrounded by 40 pals as well as his superstar girlfriend. The source added that the group dined on pad Thai noodles, barbecue chicken, soup and drank an array of cocktails.
“They were definitely celebrating and enjoying themselves,” they added. “Wilmer got there later, giving his friends a chance to get there first. He was surprised!”
After they had all finished their meal, everyone sang the obligatory Happy Birthday as he was presented with a huge W shaped cake. That song was followed up by For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow.
“Ashton and Mila were singing along and clapping to the song,” the insider continued.
Wilmer met the new parents when they all worked together on That ‘70’s Show. And he couldn’t wait to take to social media and share his delight at the surprise thrown for him by his nearest and dearest.
“IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!! Haha!! I was surprised last night by all the people I love!! I felt so blessed to have looked around & truly know that everyone by my side has & will always have my back,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of his cake. “I love you! 35, does that mean is cheaper when I go to Disneyland!?”
