Coldplay organise “hidden” Christmas charity shows, offer fans the chance to win Chris Martin’s art and interview actor/director Simon Pegg.

The Brit superstars will play two intimate shows, in Liverpool and Newcastle, for the homeless charity Crisis.

Each show with have 1000 capacity and will be “hidden”, in that punters won’t know the venue until the day before, highlighting the uncertainty homeless people deal with every day.

Tickets will be £50 and be available to their website readers and locals of both towns from this Friday.

Two hundred special tickets, including a meet and greet, access to a VIP bar, and more, will be auctioned at the same time.

In addition to this righteousness, they’re offer fans the chance to win a cute little cartoon by frontman Chris Martin by sending their name and address to competitions@coldplay.com.

And to round out the action, their site included an interview with “honorary Coldplay member” Simon Pegg of Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz fame.

He revealed that he’s petrified whenever he’s asked to hit the stage with them, talked about his studio backing vocal efforts, how Martin is as a Godfather, and his collection of rareties.
