Mariah Carey is reportedly set to sign a multimillion dollar Las Vegas residency deal.

The Grammy-winning We Belong Together songstress has sold millions of albums worldwide and her net worth is an estimated $500 million.

According to Page Six, her fortune is about to expand even more as she allegedly negotiates a concert contract potentially worth over $30 million with Las Vegas Strip hotel, Caesar’s Palace.

The Vegas residency would be a welcome addition to Mariah, who has been recently criticised for her live performances. Her short tour around Asia, The Elusive Chanteuse Show, has received mixed reviews. Also, Mariah’s performance during the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony hosted at Rockefeller Center in New York City last month was also largely poorly reviewed.

Mariah underwent a lot of strife in her personal life these past few months.

Last August her estranged husband Nick Cannon announced the pair had separated following six years of marriage.

Mariah has remained largely silent about the split, but apparently she is working her way through the emotional pain.

"Mariah had a heartfelt conversation with Nick last week and they decided that they needed to put their feelings aside for the twins. Things between them got so toxic after Mariah accused Nick of dating other women too quickly, but now she's realised they both need to move on for the sake of their kids," a source told British magazine Closer previously.
