Nick Cannon plans to “top” himself on his fifth wedding anniversary to Mariah Carey.
The couple married on April 30, 2008 in the Bahamas after a whirlwind six-week courtship.
They welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe on their third wedding anniversary so it’s extra important they do something special.
Last year the couple renewed their wedding vows on a romantic trip to Paris.
But Nick says the trip will pale in comparison to what he has planned for his beloved wife.
"This year we’re trying to top that. It’s next week so we’re spending all of this week and this weekend planning to make it as grand as possible,” he told America’s OK! magazine.
Nick declined to go into further detail about their over-the-top plans.
Despite the nature of their opulent lifestyle, the America’s Got Talent host also insisted behind closed doors the couple couldn’t be more relaxed around one another.
Asked what surprised him most about marriage, Nick confessed he’s been stunned by “how easy it is” and he looks forward to the years to come.
"I don’t want to knock on wood or anything, but honestly it’s probably the easiest part of my life is being married to my dream girl,” he gushed.
“When everything else is going crazy it’s like, 'Wow, I have someone who loves me unconditionally.'"
