Calvin Harris confirmed that his and Lady Gaga’s recent feud “was rectified very quickly”.

The Scottish musician and the pop superstar exchanged heated words last week.

Gaga was angered after Calvin said during an interview with BBC Breakfast that he was just too “busy” to work with her in the early stages of her career.

She took to Twitter shortly afterward saying that she "never even emailed you @CalvinHarris I guess it's hard to believe I write + produce my music. cuz I'm a woman I don't know about EDM right?"

Calvin and Gaga got into a bit of a tweet war, but then the pair finally settled the score and eventually apologised to one another, thanks to their mutual friend producer Zedd.

"Zedd's great. He's a great guy," Calvin told MTV News.

"But it was strange. But it was rectified very quickly, which was great.

"It's interesting 'cause the actual thing that happened happened four years ago and people have known about it for that amount of time. It was on Wikipedia and... then the actual thing that happened was the label emailed me and asked me for remix of any of these like five tracks. And I wasn't in the studio at the time, I was busy. So I was like, 'Oh, you know, I can't do it'."
