Global star Calvin Harris has been announced as the first headline act of Glasgow Summer Sessions 2015, as Scotland’s only outdoor city music festival returns to Bellahouston Park this August.
Taking to the stage on Sunday 30th August, fans can expect to hear some of Calvin’s best known hits such as “Outside”, “Under Control”, “We Found Love” and “Sweet Nothing”.

Since his 2007 debut, Calvin Harris has dominated charts across the world, having written and produced tracks for artists such as Rihanna, Kylie Minogue and Ellie Goulding. Harris surpassed Michael Jackson in holding the record for most top ten hits from one studio album when nine tracks from his third album, “18 Months”, made the charts.

Last year’s Summer Sessions saw US superstars, The Killers, and DJs David Guetta and Steve Angello perform to over 100,000 people at Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park across three dates. The events attracted thousands of visitors to the city and provided a massive boost to the local economy.
